Planting Season Has Begun
While we’re still deep in the middle of many different interior and exterior renovation projects (what else is new?) – we still needed to get at least some planting done in hopes of having something to harvest this summer. Unfortunately, our only workable garden at the moment is small and is unprotected from the dogs who have decided that they absolutely LOVE fresh rosemary, right off the plant – that happens to be dead center in the middle of our garden, which is leading to trampled plants and muddy dogs all the way around.
Hopefully in the next week or two I’ll install garden fencing in the back around that garden and will also make some really good progress towards finishing our retaining wall in the front yard, which will allow us to possibly get that garden under way this season too.
Also still working on fences and our big retaining wall, among other things, but those are taking a back seat right now to some of these more practical projects.
